Please note that not all omega-3-acid ethyl ester products are suitable for this indication. Care should be taken to select products with the approproate docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) content. The recommended daily dose is 500-1000mg of DHA+EPA, where at least 500mg is from DHA.

Examples of suitable products include Strides and Omacor. Omacor is significantly more expensive than generic options and should only be supplied when other suitable products are unavilable.
